Since the idea of Bambean Baby came about, we have had a mission to GIVE. We recently found out about a little boy in OUR community - The Shoals, in North Alabama - who was diagnosed with a very rare disease, LMNA-CMD. It’s a muscular dystrophy subtype that happens in less than 1 out of every 1,000,000 births. There are currently only a little over 100 children known to have the disease in the entire world. The little boy’s name is Sage, his parents are Savanna & Devin Spires. He is just a few months short of 3 years old. Savanna & Devin were recently given the news that no parent could ever fathom to hear - that they do not have much longer with their precious boy. He is declining at a rapid rate and he is currently on hospice. Savanna & Devin are OF COURSE, not leaving his side and are spending every second they have left with their baby together. As we all know, times are tough and bills still have to be paid. Our community has came together and been a blessing to this family financially. We at Bambean Baby hope to do so as well. Even if we’re able to help them pay their rent or mortgage for a month or two while they’re going through the hardest time in their life - that’s what we want to do to lessen the financial burden on their shoulders from being off from work.
We will be donating 10% of all sales from our first launch to the Saving Sage organization linked below. We will be donating the funds on a weekly basis to get funds to them as quickly as possible.
